< DEER MINI SCRAPBOOK ALBUM > Autumn Deer paper (8" x 8") Autumn Pagoda paper (1" x 12", 3 1/2" x 8") Pink Dot kimono fabric ribbon (2") Mini scrapbook album (6 3/4" x 7 1/4")* Tan paper (6 3/4" x 7 1/4", 6 1/2" x 18 1/2") White elastic cord (12") Buttons (3) "JOY" metal embellishment Gold brad Tags (3) Stapler Gluestick Glue Cut mat Craft knife Metal ruler Skewer *Note: O.K. to substitute album for another type of book. Remove pages from mini scrapbook album. Adhere "Deer" paper to front cover of album using gluestick. Wrap edges to back of cover and press to secure. Repeat step using tan paper over back cover of book. Adhere wide strip of Autumn Pagoda paper over spine of album using gluestick. Wrap edges to back and press to secure. Open book and adhere tan paper over backs of covers using gluestick. Cut thin strip of Autumn Pagoda paper in half diagonally. Roll 1" of wide of triangle around skewer. Apply gluestick to remainder of triangle and continue to roll around skewer. (Note: Keep point of triangle in middle as you roll paper around stick.) Remove paper from skewer. Poke holes 1" from corners on back cover using tip of craft knife. Thread elastic cord through bead. Thread ends of cord through holes in cover and tie knots on ends to secure. Fold ribbon in half and staple to edge of tag. Attach brad to top of another tag. Position three tags and "JOY" embellishment near top of front cover. Adhere pieces to surface using gluestick. Attach buttons near book spine using glue. Reattach album pages to inside of book using glue. Position elastic cord and bead to front of book.
