It is possible not only to stop, but also cut by paper cutter or scissors, write and paint. About the box called " EDO ORI BAKO " in Japanese. The word " EDO " is one of the Eras in Japan ( 1603 ~ 1867 ) and " ORI BAKO " means box the side wood is folded. < Background > This is a traditional box but now people don't use them very often. In EDO era, these boxes were used as a container for raw fish or as a lunch box in general. At ceremonies or festivals, people put special dishes into these boxes as gift. So this box used to be one of the tools of the common people. Now these are made by only one factory in Tokyo. They are all handmade.
